During the 2020 Summit on Jiangsu CCC Pilot Zone in Wuxi, Lishui District (Nanjing), Xishan District (Wuxi) and Xiangcheng District (Suzhou) agreed in writing to endorse the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC). As a result, Lishui New Industry Town becomes a provincially recognized testing base for intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs).
As an important engine for the new energy vehicle industry of Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Scientific Innovation Center of Lishui New Industry Town has built a 1.62km closed test section as early as 2018. Based on data collected by the control center through in-vehicle high-resolution probes and sensors, 22 intelligent test scenarios are provided for driverless vehicles including cornering, driving in rain and fog, tunnel drive, and emergency braking. So far, a number of ICV-related companies have been running tests at the ICV Demonstration Zone of Lishui New Industry Town.
